Unstructured Data & AI Survey 2026

NOTE: The survey remains open until early September 2026.
We are currently conducting an international survey on Unstructured Data and AI Governance. Survey findings and analysis will be published on this page at the end of September 2026.

Organizations store vast amounts of unstructured data across file shares, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, email and cloud services. As AI, Copilots and intelligent assistants are increasingly connected to these environments, the quality, ownership, lifecycle management and visibility of information become increasingly important.

The purpose of this survey is to understand how organizations manage unstructured data, what governance practices are in place, and where organizations see the biggest risks, challenges and development needs.

The survey has received responses from organizations across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

The final report will include findings related to information governance, AI readiness, data lifecycle management, retention practices, classification and unstructured data risks.

The survey is conducted together with Tutkimusvoima. No spam. No sales calls. No marketing follow-up. Responses are processed anonymously and reported only in aggregated form.
